Art Meets Conservation in Eastern Ontario
Jacqueline's love and concern for Mother Earth serves as inspiration for her original 'Trees For Thought' series of paintings. Small format originals from this series are now available through The South Nation Conservation Authority. 33% of the sale from these originals through the SNCA or through my personal studio will go directly to the SNCA to be used specifically to restore buffer zones and timberland in the South Nation Watershed. Seaway Author Maggie Wheeler launches 'On A Darkling Plain'


Wheeler releases fourth novel in her Lost Villages Mystery Series featuring Inspector Jerry Strauss and Farran Mackenzie. This murder mystery series blends fiction with facts of the inundation of the St. Lawrence Seaway in the 1950's.

Focus Art Juried Show
Jacqueline's entry "Icy Haven" received an Award in the Acrylic Division of The Focus Art Annual 2009 Juried Show. This Cornwall, Ontario Show features the creative talents of Eastern Ontario Artists. Jacqueline's photographic entry "Sign of the Times" garnered an Honourable Mention.
